Beautiful Country by Qian Julie Wang

This memoir is good in parts and terrible in parts. Some of it was so bland you didn't want to keep reading but then you would turn the page and it would get really good. Qian came to the USA as a 7 year old in 1994. They came to NYC and working in the sweatshops became a thing. The struggle of being Chinese while in America was something she's dealt with her whole life
