In the Unlikely Event by LJ Shen
This has been my least favorite book by this author
I just felt like the characters and I never really gelled and I couldn't get into the story and get moving.
Rory and Mal, they meet under unlikely circumstances and write up this contract thing on a napkin
They go about their lives and after several years end up back in contact with each other
Mal has never let go of that napkin
Rory remembers everything that happened before and whats happened in the years since.
