The Sweetness of Forgetting by Kristin Harmel

I so very enjoyed this book,  I wish it was a series

Hope is a single mom, mainly because her husband is a douche.

She absolutely loves being with her grandmother, Mamie

Annie, who's a troubled teen due to the divorce and the separation between her parents, also loves being with Mamie.

Mamie is on the decline, losing her memory but still sharp as a tack when those lucid moments happen.

Mamie convinces Hope and Annie to take her to the beach, where she relives her past, tells them stories and hands Hope a list.

The list is full of her family she's lost and doesn't know what happened.

Hope is tasked with finding what or where the family members are.

Family friend Gavin steps up and steps in when he's really needed and really opens Hopes eyes to love.
