Verity  I typically don't read books that everyone is making a fuss about because I don't find the same fuss that everyone else does (once again, insert Crawdads)...  This book, good from page 1, is worth it..  It's worth the 2 days I had to wait from Amazon It was worth staying up till 1 am because I started it at 9pm and couldn't put it down.   You're going to need to find it and read it, and maybe read it again.  Lowen is a writer, who's struggling.  Her agent gets her a meeting but isn't sure if she will take the opportunity.
